(Art) inPink

It’s been a while since I have done anything art/drawing/creative – wise. I have always preferred drawing the female figure. And the reason i still suck at anatomy is because every time I do a sketch, I spent too much time fussing with my favorite bits which are the face and hair. I’ve learned some new tricks this time while fooling with Photoshop =D. And I think this is the first time I got hands right! Yay for stock references. I didn’t trace the the stock (which is why the waist area bit is a little dodgy), but just used it as visual reference.

1 Year Anniversary!

Today has been a lousy day for me. =_= So all I can do to celebrate Berribunz Studio’s birthday is to doodle this crazy sketch. It’s been a year since I’ve started this blog. So far, I’m pretty happy with the way things are and the stuff I have been producing. I’ve written some critical stuff and also posted much fluff. What I foreseen in this coming year is more Nendoroid photoshoots, random doodles and if complete, my FYP.

Stats make me happy, and though I am still far from the 10k visitor count, I’m still grateful to all who have commented and gave my two cents worth some thought.

First sketch of 2009

Here’s a random sketch to start off the year!

This was churned out while I got distracted from my FYP and started doodling. =P I’ve been playing around with the photoshop “FILL” effects and with the textured brushes and canvas. I actually find it easier to colour this way, there seems to be more control over my strokes using this method. ^^

I took a ton of picture of Miku & Yako yesterday, but pile is just setting on my desktop… waiting for me to edit them. Expect a flood of Nendoroid photography in the next post~!

My MacBook Pro is off for repairs, so there is just the silly PCs in school to play around with.
